pomegranate kernels on                                a blue acrylic surface
                    400 x 300 cm

This collective installation aimed to realise a creative situation in a vacant commercial space. Passers-by were attracted by the pomegranates distributed inside the space, and, when they entered, were offered a box with pomegranate seeds inside, which they could eat or distribute on a blue acrylic surface.
The installation lasted one week within Maku Galleria Nomade, a gallery project which aims to use vacant commercial spaces for exhibitions and open studios. The pomegranate is a fitting symbol of fertility, union and community.
